Virtual Dementia Tour

Sunrise Senior Living

The Virtual Dementia Tour® (VDT) is designed to build sensitivity and awareness in individuals caring for those with dementia. The VDT is a dementia simulation creating understanding of the physical and mental challenges faced by those with dementia. VDT is offered in full session format this year. Each session is on a first come, first served basis and will be offered during all four time periods.

Using Social Media to Help with Caregiving

Like many caregivers, Virginia Ingram has found solace and support on social media. In this session she will explore ways to find the right social media networks for your situation and how to use social media to find caregivers with similar interests. She will also provide tips for online tools to help with the day-to-day management of caregiver tasks.
